When you sign up, we store your email address and the reflections you choose to save. Reflections include the text you submitted and the scripture and response generated for you.

Hearkenly never sells or shares your personal data, and never uses it for advertising. We use privacy-preserving, aggregate analytics to understand how the app is used so we can improve it — but we never attach your reflections, prayers, or journal to your identity, and we never record their contents in those analytics. Guest reflections (used without an account) are never tied to a user.

Your reflections are used only to provide you with the service — showing you a searchable journal of past reflections and improving the quality of responses you receive. Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, encrypted at rest and in transit.

When you submit a reflection, the text is sent to a third-party AI service provider that acts as our sub-processor to generate a response. The provider does not retain your input or use it to train their models. See "Sub-processors" below for the specific provider currently in use.

You can delete any saved reflection at any time from the Journal tab. You can delete your entire account by contacting hello@hearkenly.com.

Hearkenly relies on the following service providers to deliver the product. Each receives only the data necessary to perform its function and is contractually bound to handle it on our behalf.
